ere are the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions. If you have any further questions, use the contact form below to send us your questions or feel free to give us a call+49 (0) 33398-918771. We are happy to personally answer your questions about the ISOM Bible School.

The Bible school requires about 3 hours of your time per week. This includes one evening per week, in which two lessons are studied plus the time for doing homework, which requires around 60 minutes. Thus, the Bible School is ideal for working and busy people.

We recommend studying at least two lessons per week. Each semester consists of 32 lessons, so a semester with two exams lasts a total of 4 months. Since most ISOM Bible schools take a break during the holidays, a little more than two semesters can be studied per year. The five semesters can thus be studied in about 24 months.

The possibility of individualised study is possible in semesters 1 and 2, and the missing semesters can be made up later. However, it is not recommended to jump right into the third trimester, because the foundation laid in semesters 1 and 2 would be missing. It is ideal if, for example, a church group starts a new year with semester 1, every 1 to 2 years. New students can then begin their studies from the beginning.

The Bible school was systematically built up with much prayer and careful planning. Nevertheless, it may be that you don’t like a teacher or a course. It is then helpful to ask yourself, “Why was this course built into the curriculum in this particular semester? What can this course do in the lives of students?” Our experience is that with the right humble attitude, one can learn something from any course. Another basic principle is that you don’t have to agree with every teacher. It is important to stick with your studies and not give up!

We advise against this, as the first five semesters are built on one another and provide comprehensive biblical-theological basics and training for ministry. The Bachelor modules are one level above the semesters and address deeper and more extensive topics. Let us know if you have any questions about this. An exception is the postponement of the Purifying Stream seminar (Module 10) between the semesters, in which the whole community can participate.
Exception: If you decide to study with the ISOM Bible School as a career changer in order to further educate yourself according to your interests. This can also be useful if you want to use the individualised study module specifically for experienced community leaders.

There is no minimum age. Our youngest students are 12 years old and the oldest are over 80 years old. The important question is whether there is spiritual maturity and spiritual hunger in the student concerned. This is something that cannot be determined by age.

This is possible if the student does not want to have a diploma. However, the exams are an important part of the school, as they are a motivational aid for learning and a test of whether what has been learned has really been understood. The tests also help the students to stick with their studies with discipline and are not difficult if you have attended the meetings and done your homework. The diploma is also an important and joyful recognition of the completed studies and can motivate others to attend Bible school.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer any special prices because our prices are already as low as possible. The best thing would be for the church community to sponsor serious students who don’t have enough money.
However, we have a special price of 35 Euros (50%) off the tuition fee for refugees. We also have different study prices in different nations, such as in Netherlands, Spain, Romania, or Italy, because the income levels are different.

This is possible if these students already understand enough German. However, it would mean spending more time on each lesson because language barriers would have to be bridged. If there are large groups who speak another language in the church, then it makes sense to offer another Bible school in this language, e.g. in Spanish, Farsi, or Russian. We recommend German-speaking communities to use the German-Express version!
