Associates Degree

The Associate’s degree in Biblical Studies consists of 5 semesters and is ideal for training Christians as disciples of Jesus and future leaders, wherever they live. Each semester consists of video courses that were originally recorded bilingually in English and German. Each course lesson originally lasted 60 minutes in English-German. In the meantime, a German Express version of the video courses has been developed in which the English language was overlapped with the German translation, so that each lesson now only lasts 30 minutes. This is a great gain in time that can be used for small group exchanges and prayer for one another after each lesson.

Asemester consists of several courses and a total of 32 video lessons per semester. For each semester the student receives a detailed study folder in which the contents of the course with all of the Bible passages and most important points are available in writing. After each lesson there are questions for self-study (homework) and for group study, when studying in a group.

We recommend studying at least two lessons per week so that a semester lasts four months (8 lessons per month). But you can also study faster, as your time allows. However, one should certainly leave enough time for reworking and practical application of what has been learned, therefore, we do not recommend that churches take less f than two years for the five semesters. Individuals tend to study faster, with some completing Associate’s degrees in a year.
